Cobus has experience in sports related injuries, working with numerous sporting associations including Tuks Rugby Team, Pumas Rugby Team, Comrades, SA Games, ASA Senior Championships, SASSU, Eastern Cape Academy of Sport and Bay United Soccer Team.

He is also the co-author of a scientific paper, presented at multiple international congresses. Additionally he is a member of the South African Society of Physiotherapy and the South African Sports Medicine Association specializing in Sport Treatment and Rehabilitation focusing on Manual Therapy, Injury Specific Rehabilitation, Sport overall conditioning and Biomechanical Analysis.
